My Story:
After my first pregnancy, I gained 70 pounds. I tried everything to “get my body back” random workouts, yo-yo diets, pushing myself on the treadmill, but nothing worked. I was leaking, felt constant pelvic pressure, and when I spoke up, I was met with, “Welcome to motherhood, this is just how it is.”
By my second pregnancy, I was determined to try something different. I joined a fitness challenge, started macro counting, and saw results everywhere…except my stomach. The “mom pooch” stuck around. I still felt pressure and pain doing everyday things like vacuuming or carrying my kids. And once again, I felt lost. Broken. Like no matter what I did, nothing truly helped.
Eventually, I found out I had diastasis recti and everything finally made sense. I dove deep into pelvic floor health and core healing, learning everything I could and for the first time, I really started to understand my body. I learned how to move, breathe, and train in a way that supported me, not worsened my symptoms. By the time I got pregnant with my third baby, I didn’t fear the changes anymore. I embraced them. I trusted my body.
That journey changed everything.
I became certified in pre and postnatal fitness so I could help navigate this journey too, with real tools, real support and real results. And Cultivate born, to be the resource for others, that I so badly needed, but couldn’t find. I built this platform to help women heal, get strong, and understand
that just because something is common doesn’t mean it has to be your normal.
You deserve to feel confident, supported, and strong — from the inside out!
